Baba Amte Divyang Univ Bill May Be Tabled This Session: Min Jully | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Social justice and empowerment minister Tikaram Jully said efforts will be made to bring the Bill for the establishment of Baba Amte Divyang University in the current session itself.
The minister also informed that the first meeting of the task force on the Rajasthan Homeless Upliftment and Rehabilitation Policy was held on January 10. He said under this policy, poor labourers who come from villages for work in cities and live in open places will be provided roofs in shelter homes run by the state government. He said under this policy, the rural development department will conduct a survey at the gram panchayat level and this process has been set in motion. Earlier, in a written reply to the original question of Madan Dilawar, the minister said the Rajasthan Homeless Upliftment and Rehabilitation Policy, 2022, was approved in the cabinet meeting on November 24, 2022, and a notification had been issued on December 8.
He said according to the provisions of the policy, action is being taken to prepare an action plan, issue identity cards and survey of homeless people in urban and rural areas. TNN
