Breakthrough: Criminal Wanted In Multiple Cases Arrested In Bundi District | Jaipur News

Kota: In a significant breakthrough, the Kota city and Bundi police apprehended notorious history sheeter Mohammad Irshat alias Nanji alias Baccha (26), from Lambha Barda village under Dei police station in Bundi district. Irshat was listed among the top 10 criminals in the Kota range and was wanted in 11 cases across police stations in Kota, Rajasthan, and Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He carried a reward of Rs 70,000, with Rs 50,000 offered by Rajasthan police and Rs 20,000 by MP police.

The successful joint operation, led by DSP Yogesh Choudhary of Nainwan circle, followed a tip-off regarding Irshat’s location in Lambha Barda village. The police team, consisting of 38 officers, raided the house where he was hiding and managed to apprehend him, although another individual present in the house managed to escape.
Mohammad Irshat was known for his elusive tactics, frequently changing locations and using different phones solely for WhatsApp calls to avoid detection. However, a clever move by the Kota cyber cell allowed the police to trace his location when he switched on his mobile on the day of his arrest.

As a leading member of the notorious Aman Baccha gang, Irshat was involved in 11 out of 18 criminal cases, including murder, attempted murder, loot, and extortion, spanning both the Kota and Indore police ranges.
Irshat will now face the due legal process for his alleged crimes.
