Barmer: Arrested ‘pak Spies’ Taken To Barmer For Area Verification | Jaipur News
Jaisalmer: Police on Monday brought the two men arrested last week for allegedly spying for Pakistan to Barmer for an area verification. The duo, who are suspected of working for Pakistani intelligence agency ISI, were taken to places from where they had allegedly sent photos and information. They will be taken to the border areas in Jaisalmer, from where they had allegedly sent strategic information from canal areas, for further verification on Tuesday.
According to police, Rajasthan intelligence police, last week had arrested Ratan Khan from Sheo police station area in Barmer district and Peeru Ram a home guard security personnel deployed at Mangala processing terminal of oil producing area in Kawas area of Barmer, under official secret act as these persons were found to be spying for ISI.
Currently the accused are on five days remand. One of the spies was honey trapped and in greed of money sent confidential information to Pakistan while the other took training from ISI.
According to sources, the agency is trying to find out from where they spoke to Pakistani handlers along with trying to collect electronic evidence.
