Barmer Collector Reviews Pachpadra Refinery Construction, Assures All Help | Jaipur News
JAISALMER: Barmer district collector (DC) Lok Bandhu on Wednesday reviewed the under-construction works of Pachpadra refinery and assured to resolve the problems at the earliest.
He said that the refinery is the dream project of chief minister Ashok Gehlot and will help to boost the state’s economy after its completion. He said the pace of the work will not be allowed to slow down despite adverse conditions.
He said the refinery is top priority of the state government and monitoring is being done at the state-level. He asked the parturing company Hindustan Petroleum and other departments to resolve the problems at their levels.
Discussing in detail about the expansion of electricity, drinking water and infrastructure facilities, he directed officials to resolve the problems at the earliest. He also directed to complete Sambra, Jerala and Sajiala roads on time and to construct roads at a little higher level to prevent waterlogging. He also directed the forest department personnel for afforestation. He also asked the expert team to submit a report by March in regard to the habitat of migratory birds. He directed the district health officer to organise medical camps for villagers and distribute medicines.
