Jda: Jda Demolishes 4 Illegal Colonies In Sanganer | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The enforcement wing of Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) on Monday demolished four residential colonies in Sanganer that were allegedly coming up without legal paperwork.
Officials said all the four colonies were in areas under the jurisdiction of zone 14 of the civic body.
The first colony that was demolished was coming up on land of about 3 bighas in Bhater village. The second colony was in the name of Laxmi Nagar at the same village on land measuring approximately 10 bighas.
The third colony was in Lakhana village on land measuring about 2 bighas, officials said, adding that in the past they had demolished another colony being built on the same plot of land.
The fourth colony that was demolished was on land measuring 5 bighas in the same village, they said.
“We are now going to send demand notices to the builders to recover the amount we have incurred on the demolition process. Since 2019 we have adopted a zero-tolerance policy against illegal new colonies,” said a JDA official.
