Bids Invited For 24 Solar Projects Being Developed Under Pm Scheme | Jaipur News
Jaipur: State power agencies have started an exercise to develop 24 projects having a capacity of 48mw.
The projects will be taken up under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) programme, which aims to solarise one million grid-connected agriculture pumps with a capacity up to 7.5 HP.
For the same, Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JDVVNL) has invited tenders in various subdivisions of Jaisalmer division under Jaisalmer Circle.
An official informed, “The bids will be opened on April 26. The awardee will maintain and operate the projects for 25 years and provide remote monitoring systems.”
As per the proposal, the project will be completed in nine months of signing the PPA, and bidders can submit bids for one or more projects.
The successful bidder will be eligible for central finance assistance of 30% of the estimated installation cost as per MNRE guidelines.
An official explained many famers will be benefited after using electric grid-connected tubewells for irrigation of agricultural land as it will be linked with solar energy under the PM-KUSUM scheme of the Union government
