Bjp: Fight Of Congress With Bjp Is Over Ideology, Says Gehlot | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday termed the fight of Congress with the BJP that of ideology.
He alleged that the Modi government was not working according to the basic spirit of the Constitution.
Gehlot paid floral tributes to Babasaheb’s statue here at Ambedkar Circle on his birth anniversary. On this occasion, the chief minister said that the Constitution is being torn apart in the country, and democracy is in danger.
“The biggest challenge before us is to protect the Constitution and to keep democracy strong. BJP is not running the country according to the basic spirit of the constitution, that’s why there is talk of the danger of democracy today.”
He said that Indira Gandhi gave her life for the country to remain united, and Rajiv Gandhi became a martyr. In such a situation, it should be the resolve of all of us in this country that we should follow the dreams and feelings of Babasaheb Ambedkar. He also exhorted the people to adopt the path of non-violence.
Referring to the basic spirit of the constitution and the duties mentioned in it, he said that if all the people and political parties follow these principles, then half of the internal problems of the country will be solved.
Describing untouchability as a stigma on humanity, Gehlot said if untouchability is practiced even today, it is a stigma on humanity. He also inaugurated an art exhibition on Dr Ambedkar’s life at Jawahar Kala Kendra.
