Bookies: Balotra Police Team Arrests 5 Bookies, Seizes 18 Mobiles | Jaipur News

Jaisalmer: Balotra DST team took action against betting in world cup cricket tournament. The team raided a house in Jasol town and arrested five betters and seized papers of transactions worth over Rs 1 crore, a car, five motorcycles and an instrument for betting.
SP Harishankar said that as part of a campaign to control illegal activities and arrest suspicious persons, the team raided a house in Jasol and arrested five bookieswho were batting on India-South Africa World Cup match.A suitcase was recovered with six mobiles with keypad and seven android mobile phones and five keypad mobiles which were used for seeing the match.
The bookies were identified as Mahendra Kumar Mali, Manoj Sindhi, Gevar Ram, Nandkishor Lohar, Virendra Mali, all residents of Balotra. A case was lodged under Section 2/4of RPGO against all accused. TNN
