BSF: BSF Foils Smuggling Bid, Recovers 6kg of Heroin | Jaipur News

Jaisalmer: Alert BSF jawans at the international border adjoining Barmer on Friday foiled an attempt to smuggle heroin and recovered 6kg heroin hidden near the fencing on the border. The cost of the recovered heroin is estimated to be Rs 30 crore.
No arrests have been made so far in the case but BSF is intensively investigating who brought the heroin from across the border and whom it was to be delivered to, officials said.
According to senior official sources in the BSF, at the Bhabhute ki Dhani border outpost in Kelnore area under Binjrad police station, BSF jawans saw a person’s footprints. A search was launched and BSF jawnas found six packets of heroin hidden in a pit near the fencing. Each packet contained 1kg of heroin.
BSF officers suspect that two days ago Pakistan smugglers brought this consignment and hid it near the Indian border. TNN

The accused is being questioned about his involvement in drug trafficking, the source of the drug, and his supply network.
