Light To Moderate Rain Continues In Raj | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Light to moderate rainfall continued at many places in the state on Tuesday. Met office said that the rainfall activity will increase from Wednesday onwards when many places in Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer and Bharatpur divisions are likely to get moderate to heavy showers. Sangod (Kota) received highest rainfall of 120mm in state.
Attributing the rainfall to high humidity levels and northerly winds, Met office said that heavy rainfall is likely to be witnessed at some places in eastern Rajasthan.
People in Jaipur woke up to a warm and humid morning when a minimum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius was recorded in the city. It was followed by a dry afternoon logging a maximum temperature of 33.4 degrees Celsius. Throughout the day scattered clouds were witnessed in and around the city, still a light rainfall of 4mm was recorded in the city.
Met office said that on Wednesday there would be monsoon rainfall activity in Jaipur. “By the noon on Wednesday there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall,” said an officer with Jaipur Met office.
