Raj Govt: Thakur Terms Raj Govt As ‘geh-loot Sarkar’ | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Union minister Anurag Singh Thakur on Wednesday termed the Ashok Gehlot government as Geh-Loot (government involved in loot) while slamming it for making the state number one in crime, corruption, unemployment, paper leaks, temple demolition, and appeasement.
In a press conference at the BJP office, Thakur said, “Rajasthan, which was known for its valour, bravery, and respect for women, has been reduced to number one destination for crimes against women and Dalits. Over 10 lakh crimes were recorded in five years, gang war at its peak, over 7,500 innocent citizens were killed.”
Earlier in the day, while addressing the Youth Representatives conference in Jaipur, he said, “The youths of the state have decided to overthrow Gehlot’s government. The state government which has become synonymous with fear, confusion, and corruption, is a ‘Geh-loot’ government, we have to free the state from their loot.”
Charging Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for their mute response to crimes in the state, he said, “Where is the national leader of the Congress, who gives the slogan of ‘I am a girl, I can fight’? Where are the national leaders who are selling goods of hatred while pretending to be shops of love? They have never visited any crime victim in the state.”
Reminding Rahul of his promise made during the polls in 2018, Thakur said, “Gandhi himself had promised to waive off all types of loans to farmers within 10 days of the formation of the Congress government, but what has happened today? They didn’t stop here, the Congress government attached the agricultural lands of the farmers who could not repay the loan. In Rajasthan, 19,422 farmers have been deprived of their land, the basis of their lives. This has been accepted by the state government itself in the assembly,” said Thakur.
Thakur dedicated 33 Khelo India Centres (KIC) in Rajasthan on Wednesday at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. He said, “I’m thrilled to share a momentous announcement that a national centre of excellence with a dedicated sports science centre sports science centre will be set up in the state with additional 18 KIC taking the total KIC to 51.”
