Vidhyadhar Nagar: Fir After Graves Vandalised In City Cemetery | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The city police have initiated an investigation after members of the Christian community alleged that some miscreants vandalised graves at a Vidhyadhar Nagar cemetery.
Based on the complaint, the Vidhyadhar Nagar police station registered an FIR. The case was filed under IPC Sections 295 (violation or desecration of places of worship) and 297 (trespassing on gravesites).
According to the FIR, the suspects had uprooted crosses from the graves in the cemetery. The complainant said he came to know about such incidents in the cemetery only recently.
Police said they were on the lookout for the culprits involved in the desecration of graves. tnn
