Clash Triggers Twitter War Between Ministers | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A war or words broke out on Twitter between cabinet minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas and Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat over the brawl inside a hotel in the city’s Vaishali Nagar area, on Thursay.
Talking to the media about the brawl of Tuesday night in which his nephew Harshdeep Singh was booked, , Khachariyawas said that such minor scuffles were normal inside the clubs. He said that Harshdeep did not vandalise the hotel but some people present there caused minor damages, which is a normal affair at such places.
“The hotel owner was not involved in the matter; the fight was with the man who drew out a knife to attack a couple,” Khachariyawas said. The minister further said that such establishments will not be allowed to operate after 11.30pm.
Union minister Shekhawat later attacked Khachariyawas for referring to these incidents as minor scuffles. Shekhawat said that one of the victims was a woman, so it was not a minor incident, and questioned whether Khachariyawas would have said the same thing if a similar incident had happened in the Congress office.
Khachariyawas hit back and told Shekhawat not to politicise everything without knowing the true events. He said that a couple was having dinner inside the hotel when a man present there began eve-teasing the woman. He said that his nephew saved the woman and was the one who first called the police.
