Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot on Monday inaugurated the Rajasthan International Centre, nearly 10 years after he laid the foundation of the project.
Th RIC has been built along Sangshtan Path which connects the OTS crossing at JLN Marg to Jhalana Road.
“Although it took a long time to complete the project, I am happy that finally the project has been inaugurated. Delhi has several buildings that can be considered as landmarks. Now, Jaipur also can boast about one such landmark,” said Gehlot.
UDH minister Shanti Dhariwal took the opportunity to criticise the BJP government for not completing the project. “Rarely have we (Congress government) failed to complete a project that we initiated. But the BJP government has a track record of not completing projects that were initiated by us. We started this project in April 2013 but failed to complete it as the government changed ,” said Dhariwal.
