Nwr: Nwr Trains Over 750 Youths Under Skill Devpt Scheme | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The North Western Railway (NWR) this year has trained over 750 youths in technical skills under the Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana, said officials on Sunday.
Through this scheme, youths between the age of 18-35 are being trained for different skills and to get employment opportunities. This scheme will be operated by the ministry of railways.
Officials said that in March, over 270 youth will be trained with camps being organised in three divisions of the region.
According to the spokesperson of NWR, free training is being to develop technical skills like welding, fittings, electrical and machine related trades. For this, training centres have been developed at Ajmer, Jodhpur and Bikaner workshops of North Western Railway. A total of 759 people have been trained at these workshops so far.
“In the new batch starting in March, 270 seats are earmarked for training in these workshops of NWR. A total of 110 seats have been earmarked for training in Ajmer loco and carriages workshop, 100 in Jodhpur workshop and 60 in Bikaner office. Those interested can visit the www.railkvy.indianrailways.gov.in,” said the spokesperson.
