Jaipur: BJP Rajya Sabha MP Kirori Lal Meena, who has been sitting on a dharna for the last five days on the outskirts of Jaipur with a large number of his supporters seeking a CBI probe into a paper leak, has now got support from unexpected quarters with Congress MLA Harish Meena joining him on Saturday.
Congress MLA Harish Meena reached the protest site of Kirori and announced his support for the cause triggering speculation in political circles.
Kirori appealed to Harish to bring Sachin Pilot along with him. Harish is considered a Pilot supporter in Congress. Kirori said, “We will become stronger, if you bring Sachin Pilot, then all three will go to the CM.”
In reply, Harish Meena said, “I am with these youths, I am with their demands. I am with their rights.”
Kirori said Pilot Saheb is also with the youth. This is what he has said. He is also young. Harish said, “I am with you in the field of Jhansi.”
The Congress MLA is hearing saying, “Together I and Kirori will get justice for the state. Whatever he had to do he will do and what I have to do I will do. We are incomplete without youth. You are incomplete without us. Take advantage of our experience. All the parties are united on ERCP. We have to remain united. When it comes to the party, the party will do it. Today it is not about the party but about the youths’ rights,” said Harish, who switched to Congress from BJP before the assembly polls.
