Congress Engaged: Congress Engaged in Politics of Satisfaction – Pratap Singh Khachariyawas | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, Civil Lines candidate from Congress, on Thursday, said that their party does not engage in politics of appeasement but rather politics of satisfaction.
The Congress leader said that BJP is not talking about development and lodging complaints with the Election Commission over Congress’ guarantees.
“Campaigning is in its last leg in Rajasthan and all the senior leaders of BJP from across the country are here. This shows their situation. BJP leaders keep saying that Congress follows appeasement policy. I ask BJP to define what is appeasement? We do not do politics of appeasement, we do politics of satisfaction,” said Khachariyawas.
Appealing to voters, the Congress leader said that voters must look at the candidate’s work, irrespective of the political party and ‘send such a candidate to the assembly who is always available for its people’.
“We have fulfilled 95% of the promises we made last time. The Congress government implemented the Old Pension Scheme, Right to Health and many other additional benefits. Rajasthan made sure that no one suffers during Covid-19 and we set up food stalls everywhere. We used all our roadways buses so that migrants could reach their hometowns faster,” said the senior Congress leader. Hitting out at his BJP rival, Khachariyawas said the saffron party harps on religion to suppress the good work done by the Congress government.
