Congress: Ex-cong Leader In Bsp Upset At Support To Rld | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Former Bharatpur district Congress president Girish Chaudhary, who will fight the assembly elections on a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) ticket, is upset with his parent party. According to Chaudhary, Congress is planning to back Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) candidate Subhash Garg, a minister in the Gehlot government, in Bharatpur instead of fielding its own candidate.
Chaudhary said this strategy of the party was going to damage it further. “Where will the Congress workers go if the party doesn’t give a chance to its workers? RLD hasn’t won a single seat at the panchayat level in the district. Yet, the party is supporting it. Congress should have fielded its candidate in Bharatpur,” he said.
