Congress Leader: Former Jaipur Dm, Cong Leader Join Bjp | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Former Jaipur district collector Antar Singh Nehra, Congress leader Suresh Mishra, and several Congress and RLP leaders formally joined the BJP at the party media centre on Monday. Nehra told TOI, “I am here to serve the people more constructively. The party approached me and told me that the way I work for the poor and needy, they want to utilise my experience.” He clarified that he is not a ticket seeker. “If the party gives me the ticket, it is fine; otherwise, I am ready to work in whatever capacity,” said Nehra.
Mishra, who was associated with the Congress for the past 25 years, said, “The Congress leaders utilised me as a crowd-puller in their public rallies and events. I had expressed my interest in contesting polls in 2013, 2018, and 2023 but they gave tickets to those who lost the polls.”
