Constable Booked For Raping, Blackmailing 21-yr-old Student | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The city police have registered a case against a police constable for allegedly raping a 21-year-old student who is also a practicing rifle shooter at the Mansarovar range in Jaipur.
The constable is also accused of blackmailing the victim with explicit videos and fraudulent marriage promises, further exacerbating the victim’s ordeal.
The ordeal began when the student’s health took a dire turn, prompting the accused constable to admit her to the hospitalbefore abruptly fleeing from the scene.When the victim pressed the constable for marriage, he resorted to threats, citing his position in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). Over time, the victim decided to take a stand against her abuser, lodging an FIR against the accused police constable at the Shipra Path police station on a recent Saturday.
The victim, a resident of Karni Vihar, had been preparing for a competitive examination while residing in a rented room in Sanganer.
Her daily routine included a morning walk, followed by a visit to a local café for tea and breakfast. It was during this period that the accused, Kapil Kasana, a resident of Bharatpur, allegedly pursued the victim until they eventually formed a friendship.
According to the FIR, the victim also claimed that Kapil had lured her with promises of securing a job, leveraging his purported influence in politics and the police force. As the victim experienced distress and pain throughout this harrowing experience, she was taken to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital by the accused, who posed as her husband. However, Kapil abandoned her at the hospital after medical tests were conducted, subsequently disconnecting his mobile phone.
A medical examination on August 4 revealed that the victim was two months pregnant, and Kapil orchestrated an abortion using medication when she pressed for marriage; he blatantly refused.
The victim endured months of captivity in a house in Sanganer, enduring physical abuse and repeated sexual assaults.
