‘control Lumpy Skin Disease On Mission Mode’ | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Animal husbandry minister Lalchand Kataria directed the officers to work on mission mode for prevention of lumpy skin disease in the region. Kataria was reviewing the measures being taken for the prevention and transmission of the disease with the officers of the affected districts on Wednesday.
According to official data, 94,358 animals were affected by the disease and 74,118 were treated. While 36553 were recovered, 4296 died.
Kataria asked the officers to stay in constant touch with the gaushala operators. He directed the medical teams to visit all the subsidized and non-aided gaushalas thoroughly and treat the sick cows. He also officials to ensure cleanliness is maintained at all the gaushalas.
