Cops Probe Involvement Of Surajpole Trader’s Associates After Dacoity | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A day after unidentified men stormed the house of trader of Surajpole Anaj Mandi and robbed cash and jewellery worth several lakhs, police said they were probing the role of close ones in the case.
DCP (North) Paris Deshmukh said police are investigating the heist from all angles, including people who worked for the trader. Deshmukh with his team had visited the house after the incident. “The investigation is also focused on the near ones of the victim,” he said. He said the victim in his complaint on Thursday had claimed that cash of Rs 50 lakh was robbed.
Victim Satya Narayan Tambi claimed that the accused had barged into his house pretending to be officials from the income tax department around 7. 30pm.The accused drew out their weapons, held his family captive and said that the search would go on late into the night.
Meanwhile, additional commissioner of police (crime) Ajay Pal Lamba said on Thursday that police had arrested history-sheeter Manish Saini.
He said the criminal is being interrogated. Saini had been under the radar of the city police for a long time now. He was wanted for interrogation but remained elusive. TNN
