covid: Raj Sees Lowest Covid Active Cases In 45 Days, Number Down To 9,803 | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Over the past few days, the state’s Covid active cases have been reducing at a rapid pace. Reporting the lowest active cases on Sunday in the last 45 days, the numbers decreased from 10,967 to 9,803. On January 7, the state had recorded 10,287 active cases while on January 6, the active cases in the state dropped to 7,268.
On January 26, the active cases in the state had reached its peak in the third wave of Covid when the state’s active cases rose to 94,148. Since then, the active cases have reduced by 89.6% in the state.

Jaipur reported 214 Covid cases. Active cases in the district have dropped from 3,479 to 2,959 in 24 hours.
The pandemic situation has been improving over the past few days as the positivity rate, Covid deaths, and active cases have been reducing.
The state reported 1,022 new Covid cases in 24 hours bringing its overall tally to 12,74,810. Four persons died too, taking the toll to 9,520.
Two persons died in Jaipur, while one death each was reported from Ajmer and Jhalawar.
For the fourth consecutive day, the state reported less than 10 Covid deaths daily. On February 17, seven persons had died, on February 18, nine deaths were reported while on February 20, four persons died due to Covid.
A health department official said that the hospitalization due to Covid has also reduced and the situation is improving. But people need to take proper precautions to avoid risk of getting infected with the virus by wearing face masks, maintaining social distance and cleaning hands frequently.
