Dausa: 4 die in road accidents in Dausa, Tonk dists | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Four people were killed and one was injured in two separate road accidents in Dausa and Tonk districts late on Wednesday evening.
Three people were killed near Jeerota Mode area on the Jaipur-Agra highway near Dausa when a milk-carrying tanker in which they were travelling was hit by an unidentified vehicle. “It was a nasty collision that took place at 11:45pm. The four people in the truck’s cabin got trapped in the vehicle,” said an officer of Sadar police station of Dausa on Thursday.
A team of senior police officers rushed to the spot soon after the accident. “All the four people in the truck’s cabin, who were seriously injured were pulled out with the help of metal cutters and rushed to the hospital, where three of them were declared brought dead. The deceased were identified as Jayanti Bhai Thakur, Thakurwas Devodar and Varda Bhai Bheel, all natives of Banskantha in Gujarat,” added the officer. He injured man, Bhav Singh Vagehla, is under treatment.
In the second accident, a 19 -year-old woman riding pillion on a bike got seriously injured when the man riding it lost control at a speed breaker and she fell down near Pachewar area in Tonk district. “The woman, identified as Nisha, sustained grave injuries and was rushed to SMS Hospital in Jaipur. She succumbed on Thursday morning,” an officer of Panchewar police station in Tonk said. TNN
