Death Of Inmates: Official Inspects Kota Apna Ghar | Jaipur News

Kota: Additional director, social justice and empowerment, Narendra Choudhary on Tuesday visited shelter home Apna Ghar where three inmates died a day back and minutely examined the situation and arrangements in the shelter home.
Besides reviewing the arrangements and accommodation in the shelter home, Choudhary interacted with the inmates. Later, he visited New Medical College Hospital (NMCH) and took information about 14 inmates undergoing treatment.
Besides, a medical team also reached the shelter home on Tuesday and conducted screening of the inmates.
Meanwhile, one of the 14 female inmates, admitted with complaint of vomiting and dehydration on Sunday night, is in critical condition in the intensive care unit of NMCH while 13 others are undergoing treatment in the general ward of the hospital and their condition is stable.
A medical team, comprising gynaecologist, psychiatrist, dermatologist and physiotherapist visited the shelter home and conducted medical examination of each of the inmates.
