Demand For Framing Right To Health Rules | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Members of Suchna Evum Rozgar Adhikar Abhiyaan staged a dharna at Shaheed Smarak on Wednesday demanding that the state government should implement the Right to Health Act soon by framing the rules.
Chhaya Pachauli, state coordinator, Jan Swasthya Abhiyaan, Rajasthan, explaining the importance of the law, said, “It is the responsibility of the government to implement the law, not just pass it. However, there is laxity on the part of the government in fulfilling its responsibility. The government should frame the rules and implement the law at the earliest,” she said.
She expressed concern over a committee being constituted by the state government on July 11 to frame the rules. “Representatives of civil society groups or public health experts have not been included in the committee,” she said.
