Dgp: Dgp: 8 More Accused Identified In Bharatpur Men Murder Case | Jaipur News
Jaipur: DGP Umesh Mishra on Monday said apart from one Rinku Saini arrested for the murder of two Bharatpur men in Haryana’s Bhiwani district on Thursday, Bharatpur police have identified eight more persons involved in the gruesome crime.
The DGP, however, denied charges of the mother of accused Srikant that Rajasthan police assaulted his pregnant wife at their Haryana house which led to the death of the baby in the womb. Mishra said he is in constant touch with his Haryana counterpart.
Meanwhile, Bharatpur police said names of eight accused have emerged in the case and involvement of a few more has been found following interrogation of Saini. “With the evidence collected so far, we have found the involvement of eight more persons,” Bharatpur SP Shyam Singh said. He added that before fleeing, the accused had contacted a few persons. “We are also interrogating some persons who got calls from the accused involved in the kidnapping, assault and murder,” he added. On Monday, forensic medical board visited Ghatmika, the native village of Nasir and Junaid in Bharatpur district, to collect DNA samples of their immediate family members. “Three teams in association with Haryana police are working on this case,” he added. On Wednesday, the family of Junaid and Nasir lodged an FIR at Gopalgarh police station stating that both were kidnapped from Haryana’s Firozpur Jhirka village where they had gone for some work and alleged that some people saw them being thrashed by cow vigilantes of Haryana.
On Thursday, two skeletons were found in an SUV at Barwas village under Loharu police station area of Bhiwani in Haryana. The jeep belonged Junaid, one of the deceased.
