Jaipur: Food and civil supplies minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas said that on the occasion of 75 years of Independence and in memory of the sacrifices made by Congress leaders in India’s freedom movement ‘Azadi Gaurav Padyatra’ will be taken out in Jaipur on Wednesday at 10am from Civil Lines.
All Congress members with tricolour in their hands will participate in this. The yatra will commence from Sodala and will culminate at Civil Lines. Khachariyawas said that the rally will be taken out in all the assembly constituencies of Jaipur and in all the wards of Jaipur Municipal corporation.
He said in 75 years of Independence, the Congress government has empowered the citizens with Right to Information, Right to Work, Right to Food, Right to Education and today India stands as a leading country in the world. TNN
