Double Blow: Man’s Car & Bike Stolen On Same Night | Jaipur News
Jaipur: A city-based man’s car was stolen outside a marriage garden in Muhana, he returned home only to find that his bike was also stolen on the same night.
According to Mahesh Pareek, he first drove with his family to Muhana on Wednesday to attend a wedding. He parked his Alto 800 car at about 9 pm, and at 10.15 pm he was all set to return home and found that his car was stolen.
As per Pareek, the car belonged to his brother, but he was the one using it for a long time. Pareek’s brother filed the FIR in the case at the Muhana police station.
Pareek’s night of ordeals did not stop there, he returned to his home at about 11 pm in Mahesh Nagar and was taken aback when his bike was also stolen in a similar fashion.
Pareek then filed FIR at the Mahesh Nagar police station the same night. “I had parked the bike outside my house in Kalyanpuri in Mahesh Nagar. Then I left to attend the wedding. It was only when I returned home at about 11 pm that I could not find the bike anywhere,” he said.
He also looked around for the vehicle but in vain. Talking to TOI, Pareek said he could not believe that two of his vehicles could be stolen on the same night. “We have also retrieved a CCTV of from the Muhana where the accused could be seen fleeing in my car,” he said.
Police have now registered the two FIRs in the case and begun an investigation into the case. The incidents of vehicle lifting have been rising in the city for past some time now. Cops suspect that two separate gangs had fled with the bike and the car. tnn
