Jaipur: A woman sustained injuries at her Shastri Nagar home on Thursday morning when an LPG cylinder exploded in her kitchen.
According to police, the woman had left milk boiling on the LPG stove when, due to a malfunction, the flames suddenly leapt up, causing the cylinder to explode a few minutes later. The family members had run out of the house in fear immediately after seeing the flames rise high above the stove. TNN

Lift crash sounded like a bomb had exploded
Six construction workers died and one was seriously injured in a lift crash in Thane. The workers were pulled out of the lift by officials from the fire brigade and disaster management cell. The injured worker has been admitted to the hospital while the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem. The elevator had been under continuous surveillance and was serviced regularly, according to the promoter company. However, a former corporator claimed that the lift had been repaired recently with a bogus fitness certificate. A preliminary probe is underway.
