JAIPUR: With active western disturbances and upper air cyclonic circulation, many places especially in western Rajasthan witnessed 50 to 60kmph winds which affected normal life. Mild showers at some places and active northerly winds also provided much-awaited respite to people. Jalore was the hottest logging 41.9C.
Many places in western Rajasthan especially Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur, Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh witnessed dust storms since early morning on Thursday.

People in Jaipur woke up to a pleasant and cloudy morning with a minimum temperature of 29.1°C.
It was followed by a pleasant afternoon as a maximum temperature of 36.1°C. Mild showers and dust storm were also witnessed on the outskirts of Jaipur.
Majority of the places witnessed maximum temperatures below 40°C.
