Jaisalmer: A day after four family members—a woman, her two children, and her father—died of electrocution at their domestic flour mill on Friday night in Barmer district, the administration removed the regional discom’s assistant engineer (AEN) and junior engineer (JEN) and put them on awaiting posting order (APO) list.
The APO order was issued to the two engineers, AEN Saurabh Kumar Singh and JEN Alok Tiwari, on Saturday after an agitation held outside the mortuary where the bodies were kept, with people blaming the negligence of the discom officers for the deaths. tnn
