Jaisalmer: An engineer working in a private solar company committed suicide by hanging himself in a rented house in Fatehgarh subdivision of the district. The landlord called Sangar police station to the spot. In the presence of company officials, the police kept the body in mortuary of Jawahir Hospital and informed the family members.
Deceased Rahul Pal (21), was a resident of Madra, Hubli, West Bengal.No suicide note was recovered. Post-mortem will be conducted after the arrival of family members. The cause of the suicide is currently being investigated.

An 18-year old woman allegedly hanged herself at a Thane residence and her male friend, who studied with her at college, has been booked for abetting her suicide. The woman’s mother registered a complaint, accusing the classmate of threatening and harassing her daughter, which led to her suicide. The classmate used to chat with the woman on the phone, but when she started avoiding him, he began to force her to speak to him. The accused even called her brother to chat with her.

She was staying in a private hostel and her father mentioned that she wasn’t feeling the pressure of academics. However, she was experiencing some sort of headache. Her mother contacted the hostel warden to check on her after she didn’t answer repeated calls. The warden found Nisha’s locked room and informed the police.
