Ensure Resources, Staff At Upgraded Hosps, Officials Told | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The additional chief secretary of the health department, Shubhra Singh, on Sunday directed the officials of the department to prepare an action plan to ensure the availability of staff and resources at the newly upgraded medical institutions.
Singh directed that staff be recruited on an urgent, temporary basis till permanent staff is recruited. She inspected Satellite Hospital at Amer, Janta Clinic at Azad Nagar, a community health centre at Jamdoli, and sub-district hospital at Bassi. She directed the officials to improve the shortcomings in these healthcare facilities. This was her first inspection of health institutions after assuming the charge.
Singh also took feedback from doctors, nursing staff and patients on the facilities available at the institutions, medicine stock, machinery, and implementation of Chiranjeevi health insurance scheme.
During the inspection, she directed that vacant posts of doctors and nursing staff at the hospitals be filled up immediately after examining the possibility of appointment on urgent, temporary basis. She asked that retired doctors could be hired till permanent recruitment is done. She inspected the stock of medicines, the Chiranjeevi help desks, male and female wards, and labour rooms at the hospitals and also inquired about the OPD and IPD registration of the hospitals.
