Vande Bharat: Udaipur-jaipur Vande Bharat Will Reduce Travel Time By 1 Hour | Jaipur News

JAIPUR/UDAIPUR: On Sunday, Rajasthan will get its third Vande Bharat Express train between Udaipur and Jaipur, the trial run for which was conducted on Friday, said officials from North Western Railway (NWR). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off the train.
Udaipur MP Arjun Lal Meena and other public representatives will be present during the inaugural ceremony which will be held in Udaipur. The train service will cover a distance of 435 kms in 6 hours 15 minutes, Officials said that at present, it takes seven hours on this route.
Captain Shashi Kiran, chief public relations officer of NWR said that on Sunday, train number 09679, Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat inauguration special train will leave from Udaipur at 12:30 pm and reach Jaipur at 19:20 pm. Similarly, train number 09680, Jaipur-Udaipur Vande Bharat Inauguration Special train will depart from Jaipur at 19:50 pm on Sunday and reach Udaipur at 2:35 am. In the inaugural service, the train will stop at Mavli, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Vijaynagar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Naraina, Phulera and Asalpur Jobner stations enroute.
The train will have one executive and seven chair car coaches and will operate for regular service from Monday. During regular service, the train will depart from Udaipur at 7:50 am six days a week except Tuesday and reach Jaipur at 2:05 pm. From Jaipur, the train will depart at 3:45pm and reach Udaipur at 10pm. During regular service the train will stop at Ranapratapnagar, Mavli, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Vijaynagar, Ajmer and Kishangarh stations on the route. The state currently has two Vande Bharat trains: Ajmer-Delhi Cantt and Jodhpur-Ahmedabad. TNN

The Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat will stop at Muri, Purulia, Chandil, and Kharagpur, while the Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat will halt at Asansol and Jasidih. These trains aim to provide faster and more efficient rail connections between various cities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to virtually inaugurate nine Vande Bharat Express trains on September 24. Two of these trains will be launched for West Bengal, with one coming from Patna to Howrah and the other from Ranchi to Howrah. Indore will also receive another Vande Bharat Express, this time to Jaipur. The total count of Vande Bharat Expresses in the country will rise to 34 with the addition of these new trains. The Railways also conducted a successful trial run of the train from Hyderabad to Bengaluru.
