Extinction Event: Polling Centres At Offices Of Sdos, Collectors | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The state’s election department has decided to designate the offices of sub-divisional officers (SDOs) and district collectors as facilitation centres for employees/officials/mediapersons belonging to ‘essential services’ to cast their votes through postal ballots, said chief electoral officer (CEO) Praveen Gupta. The voting through postal ballots will be held much before the date of the election, November 25, in Rajasthan. The government departments will have to send the names of officials, who would be on duty on the polling day, to the election department much in advance. Similarly, the EC-authorised passes for mediapersons for election duty will be issued to them well in advance.
