Extinction Event: Raje, Joshi At Nadda’s Meeting | Jaipur News

Jaipur: BJP’s national president J P Nadda took feedback on probable candidates for assembly seats in Udaipur and Jodhpur divisions from party leaders and observers at meetings held in Udaipur and Jodhpur on Monday. Former CM Vasundhara Raje and state BJP president C P Joshi attended the meeting held at a hotel in Udaipur.
The meetings were held a day before the party’s central election committee’s meeting in New Delhi.
“The meeting was held behind closed doors in a private hotel. The leaders discussed the winnability factor of the probable candidates. The presence of Raje holds significance as the region is considered a stronghold of the BJP. Also, in the absence of the region’s stalwart, Gulabchand Kataria, who has been elevated to the rank of governor of Assam, the party is very careful in selecting the candidates,” said a party source.
