Jaisalmer: A farmers’ meet was organised at Shri Mallinath Rajput College hostel in Barmer on Friday by Shri Pratap Foundation.
Foundation convener Mahaveer Singh Sarvadi said the main objective of this programme was to unite farmers. “Instead of getting divided in the name of caste and religion, farmers should be united as it will be in the interest of the country and society,” he said. The main speaker was Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh patron Bhagwan Singh Rolsahabsar. Singh said that political parties divide people in the name of caste and religion but farmers should stay together. tnn
