Jaipur: Notorious gangster Vikram Gurjar alias Laden abandoned his girlfriend and fled when a police team intercepted his car in Sanganer area Monday night. The girl was arrested, and an investigation began to ascertain her possible role in the gangster’s crimes.
DCP (East) Gyan Chand Yadav said a patrolling vehicle of Sanganer police station recovered the gangster’s pistol that he dropped while running away. Sources said Gurjar, who was recently granted bail, had come to Jaipur to meet a girl.
“He went with his girlfriend to a secluded location behind the airport. He parked his car along the road. A PCR van was passing through the road, and the driver spotted the suspicious car,” said an official, adding that Gurjar fled from the car.
