Private Hospitals: Remove Cap Of ₹1,000 On Daily Drugs Under Rghs, Demand Pvt Hospitals | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Private hospitals are demanding that the state government remove the cap of Rs 1,000 on daily medicines under the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS), as it is adversely affecting the treatment of patients. “The Rs 1,000 cap is not practical. For medical management of patients, the cost can vary and can go above Rs 1,000 in a day,” said Dr Vijay Kapoor, president of the Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes Society . “Many of the private hospitals have stopped the medical management treatment under RGHS. The rates revised by the state government are not feasible,” he added.
