The Rajasthan government is certain to appeal against the acquittal by the high court in the Supreme Court.
Senior government officials said they are examining the order of the high court and seeking legal opinion on the possibility of the high court order being challenged in the supreme court.
If the Supreme Court stays the high court order till the disposal of the appeal petition, they have to spend in jail till the court decides on the petition, according to legal experts.
