Four road accidents claim 13 lives in Rajasthan,including a 2-year-old | Jaipur News

JODHPUR/JAISALMER/KOTA: Thirteen people, including six pilgrims, were killed in road accidents reported from different parts of the state on Friday.
Six persons were killed when a vehicle with pilgrims rammed into a truck near Bhavi in Bilara in Jodhpur in the wee hours of Friday. The deceased include two women and a child. A 45-year-old vegetable vendor died, while his wife and 7-year-old child were injured after a speeding car hit them when they were sleeping on a footpath in Kota on Thursday night.
A couple and their two-year-old toddler, were killed when their bike collided with a dumper in Balotra of Barmer district. In another accident, three of a family were killed after their car collided with a truck after one of its tyres burst on Kota-Shivpuri National Highway under Baran sadar police station on Friday noon.

Three members of a family were killed on the spot and another sustained injury after the car in which they were travelling collided with a container truck following bursting of one of its tyres on Kota-Shivpuri National Highway near Batawda village under Baran sadar police station on Friday noon. The injured person was referred to Kota after primary medical care, while bodies were handed over to family members after post-mortem later in the day on Friday.
The three deceased persons were identified as Ishwardayal Nama (55), his wife Haku Nama (50) and his son Akhil Nama (25), all residents of Keshoraipatan town of Bundi district while another family member, identified as Mahesh Nama sustained critical injuries in the mishap.
The family of four was heading by car towards Baran when around 1pm on Friday noon, one of tyres of the car bursted on Kota-Shivpuri National Highway near Batawda village following which the car jumped over the divider and collided head on with a truck, SHO at Baran Sadar police station Rajesh Khatana said.
