Gang Set To Loot Jewellery Shop Busted, 5 Held | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The Jaipur police arrested five members of a gang planning to rob a jewellery shop on Thursday.
Additional DCP (North) Dharmendra Sagar said that the police apprehended Mohammad Ibrahim (22), Saiful Ali (23), Malik Ahmed (26), Wasim Raja (30), and Rizwan alias Saddam (30). He added that the police recovered a sword, two knives, and a bag of chilli powder as well.
The accused were planning to loot a jewellery shop and make off with valuable items. “We received information that some individuals were hiding inside an abandoned building, gathering weapons to carry out a heist,” said Additional DCP (North) Dharmendra Sagar
He said that police teams conducted a raid at the location and arrested the suspects. During the subsequent investigation, police also seized 15 bikes and 11 mobile phones from the accused.
Police said that the gang has been involved in various serious illegal activities. TNN
