Gangster Had Told Court About Threat To His Life: Kin | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Family of gangster Kuldeep Jaghina, who was gunned down by the armed assailants on Wednesday, have lodged an FIR at the Halena police station on Thursday against 15 persons in which they have termed the attack as “pre-planned murder”. In the FIR it also claimed that Jaghina during his court hearing on June 28 had told the court verbally about the threat to his life and had also sought a permission to attend court hearings via video conferencing.
TOI on Thursday got the copy of the FIR lodged by the complainant Dharam Veer Singh who is a relative of Jaghina.
“Jaghina in his court hearing on June 28 had told the court about the threat to his life and had requested the court to allow him for video conferencing. It is a clear planned murder in which Ajab Singh, Rakesh Sarsena and others participated in the firing,” said Singh in the FIR lodged at the Halena police station.
Jaghina in the FIR had also stated that their rivals have threatened to kill everyone in his family. “It is a pre-planned murder. The assailants have threatened to kill other family members too,” said Singh.
When contacted, Rupinder Singh, IG, Bharatpur Range, said, “Yes, a complainant has given a complaint and FIR has been registered. He has lodged a case of murder and attempt to murder against 15 people out of which 14 have been named in the FIR. Also an FIR describing the whole incident was lodged by the in-charge of the challan guard team in this matter.”
A case under Section 302, 307, 147, 148, 149 and 120-B has been lodged at the Halena police station. The accused named in the FIR included Ravindra, Pankaj, Satveer, Aditya, Lokendra, Bablu, Saurav, Ravin, Devendra, Vishnu, Krishna, Shera Pehalwan, Dharam Raj, Arun Fauji and one unidentified people.
Singh added that more arrests are likely. “With the interrogation more names are figured. We will make more arrests in this case as more persons are involved in the conspiracy and execution of firing. Also, it is clear that the accused had done Recce before the final execution of their plan.”
On the other hand, the post-mortem and cremation of the gangster was done amidst heavy security at Jagina villlage in Bharatpur.
He added that the four arrested accused are taken in a five-day police remand and two in police custody at a hospital. In this case, three FIRs have been lodged.
