Garg: Munish Garg Is New Head Of Forest Force | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The state government appointed Munish Garg as the new head of forest force (HoFF) on Wednesday. Garg, a senior IFS officer of the 1988 batch, will hold the post until May 31, 2024, replacing DN Pandey, who retired on Wednesday. Arindam Tomar, in the 1989 batch, will continue as the Chief Wildlife Warden.
Garg, originally from Lucknow, holds a B.Tech degree in mechanical engineering. Throughout his career, Garg has served in various divisions of Rajasthan. Additionally, he has gone on deputation to the ministry of urban development in Delhi. He has earlier served as the principal chief conservator of forest development action plan and forest settlement. TNN
