Jaisalmer: Satpal Tanwar of Bhim army who made indecent comments on chief minister Ashok Gehlot and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi in a programme at Balotara recently, was arrested from Haryana and was brought here on Saturday and produced before the judicial magistrate Siwana from where he was sent to judicial custody.
SP Digant Anand said that on February 19 at Methoda village, the accused made the indecent comments promoting enmity and hatred amid various sections of the society before the villagers. A case was registered under Section 153 and a team was formed which arrested Satpal Tanwar from Gurugram in Haryana. He said that the special team with the help of information and technical assistance detained Tanwar (38), a resident of Gurugram district. He was produced at judicial magistrate court Siwana and was sent to judicial custody till March 10. tnn
