Jaipur: Six personnel from the Rajasthan Police have achieved remarkable success by winning medals at the Asian Games in China’s Hangzhou.
DGP Umesh Mishra said that the achievements of these police personnel have brought honour to both the police force and the nation.
Among the medalists, Sub-Inspector (SI) Sachin Tanwar played a crucial role in the men’s Kabaddi team, contributing to their gold medal win.
In addition, four players from the women’s Kabaddi team that secured the gold medal are posted with the Rajasthan Police- SI Nidhi Sharma, Sushma Sharma, and platoon commanders Sakshi Kumari and Muskaan Malik.
DSP Shalini Pathak, also from the Rajasthan Police, coached these players. Furthermore, SI Kiran Baliyan clinched the bronze medal in the shot put event.
Mishra expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the medal-winning players, including those from the police force, for their exceptional performances at the Asian Games. He extended his best wishes to the police personnel participating in the remaining competitions.
