Jaipur: Siddhant Sharma and Ganzalo Yanzon’s outing of three and two goals, respectively helped V Polo edge past Sujan Indian Tigers 6.5-4 in a Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Gold Vase Cup (10-goal) match at the Cavalry Ground on Thursday. Nimit Mehta chipped in with one goal for the winners. For the Indian Tigers, all four goals were scored by Salvador Juaretche.
In the second match which was a close contest, Carysil MAS Polo defeated Jindal Panther 8-7.5 at the Rajasthan Polo Club Ground. For MAS Polo, Manolo Llorente scored three and Kuldeep Singh Rathore and capt. Harry Warriach scored two goals each. For Panther, Gaurav Sahgal and Simran Shergill struck three goals each and Krishna Inkya contributed with one goal. tnn
