Goldie Brar: City Bizman Gets ₹5cr Extortion Call From Goldie Brar’s Gang | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: A city-based businessman with establishments in Mumbai lodged an FIR with Vidyadhar police stating that he received an extortion call demanding Rs 5 crore from a gang member of the dreaded gangster Goldie Brar.
The victim told police that on October 9, he received an unsolicited internet call on his mobile phone. The caller introduced himself as a gang member of Brar and demanded Rs 2 crore. After this, the victim immediately disconnected the call.
Shortly thereafter, the caller initiated another internet call and issued threats, warning the victim not to disconnect and claiming they could arrange a conversation with Goldie Brar through a video call. Subsequently, the businessman received menacing messages on WhatsApp. The caller later raised the amount from Rs 2 crore to Rs 5 crore.
A police official said, “The victim has provided screenshots of the messages and calls. A case has been registered.” TNN
