Disability Court Orders Action Against Bjp Legislator | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The disability court has directed the state’s election department and the SP of Ajmer district to take appropriate action against Ajmer South MLA Anita Bhadel of BJP for allegedly using derogatory remarks involving words for specially-abled persons against CM Ashok Gehlot during an event in the district on July 9.
The directions were issued by Uma Shankar Sharma, the state commissioner for specially-abled persons. During a foundation stone laying ceremony, Bhadel had allegedly used the word ‘blind’ for Gehlot. “Is Ashok Gehlot blind? The bureaucrats, who are selecting the winners (for the video contest), will give the awards to their own people,” she had said.
Earlier, while dealing with a case concerning BJP ex-MLA Bhairaram Siyol (Chaudhary), the court of the state commissioner for specially-abled persons had given directions to all the political parties “to instruct their members to refrain from using any derogatory words to describe the performance of a government, which in any manner shall demean the specially abled persons”.
